Característiques : Funoll marí. Planta que viu a les zones litorals ben a prop de la mar. És llenyosa amb fulles dividides, en segments lanceolats, són suculentes, d’un verd glauc. Tota la planta té un aroma ben característic. Les flors són d’un color groc-verdós i formen umbel·les amb llargs peduncles.

Observacions : El nom popular fa referència a l’aroma de la planta que recorda vagament al fonoll. En algunes zones es recull i es conserva en vinagre pel seu consum.

Características : Hinojo marino. Planta que vive en las zonas litorales cerca del mar. Es leñosa con hojas divididas en segmentos lanceolados, son suculentas, de un verde glauco. Toda la planta tiene un aroma bien característico. Las flores son de un color amarillo-verdoso y forman umbelas con largos pedúnculos.

Observaciones : El nombre popular hace referencia al aroma de la planta que recuerda vagamente al hinojo. En algunas zonas se recoge y se conserva en vinagre para su consumo.
